I am having trouble with my 998, the power keeps falling off on the hills. I have recently fully serviced the car and changed the fuel pump, but still having trouble.
It seems to go well on the flat but if your booting it in say second gear coming to a hill once to change up and put your foot down again it just dies on you.
Any other suggestions ?
Please.

My 998 was like that, but it was because the timing was miles out, it as only running on 20bhp.
Mine is the Leaded/unleaded head which was 1989 model and to be honest it never ran right on unleaded, So when the leaded petrol pumps packed in I always use the additive, but yours is a later model and might have a different head again.

Thanks Michael and Alan, it would appear that the fault has been with the ignition coil. new one on order so fingers crossed.
