1979 Mini Clubman 1275GT

12 Months MOT
SORN (NO Tax)
65K miles

For sale due to a recent purchase of a low mileage LE Rover Mini 40.

I have owned this Mini since 2002. The vehicle underwent a complete rebuild in 2006 to rectify minor surface rust and improve overall presentation for show purposes. I have photographs throughout the restoration of both mechanical and body shell refurbishment. I have various receipts for parts and specialist work carried out during my 8 years of ownership.

The car was fitted with many new parts and all mechanical items checked, cleaned and refurbished where necessary to improve the quality and longevity of the vehicle for everyday use.

The car has recently been re-commissioned by the best Mini specialist in the North East of England, 'Green and White Mini Spares' who checked and MOT'd the vehicle replacing the necessary parts regardless of cost. This included a new standard exhaust system, rear brake cylinders and new carburettor needle to improve the performance of the 1275cc engine.

This Mini Clubman 1275GT is now 31 years old. I would prefer potential buyers to view the car and make their own opinion on the overall condition. I am willing to discuss any queries regarding the sale of this vehicle and possible inspections with interested buyers if they are genuine. The photographs below are dated Sunday 18th July 2010.

You don't see many Clubman's on the road nowadays or even ones for sale! This is a proper '70s pocket rocket!! Something a bit different instead of the common 'round nose' models.

£3350.00 ono.

Thanks for reading

Bring some adverts to the meeting to hand out, as we have a lot of members that arn't on line.

You should bring this one to the show on Sunday to advertise it, we are hoping for more cars and people this year as we have advertised the event with the mini clan.

Should get loads of interest.

Good idea.  Didn't think about the show for selling it!  I'll make an advertisment for it. The car is currently SORN. The insurance on my Almond Green Cooper costs £500 and my Tahiti Blue Cooper is also £500. Owning 4 Mini's is costly!  That's the main reason why I can't sell the Clubby at the show, tax and insurance for 1 day would be approx £150-170.
